From a small home studio and a handful of video titles, the Film Studios Ltd has now grown into thriving film and media business, working from its base in the Derbyshire countryside.

Film Studios director Mark Whitfield began the business in 2004, teaming up with a local film-maker to supply a selection of quality local interest DVDs to retailers and online customers.

Since then, Mark has taken the business forward, sourcing many new and exciting films from local film makers around the UK and bringing them to the public eye via the company's own websites - www.localdvds.co.uk and www.ghostdvds.co.uk - and hundreds of retailers big and small across the country.

Film Studios Ltd now has over 250 titles in its catalogue, available from a host of high street retailers and also online at our dedicated websites on the right.

And we've a host of exciting new projects to launch in the coming months too.
